Yea dude, I did the same thing...laughed at my friend when he curbed the wheel on his M3 then a month later I ate it.

I would have been all over this little **** that caused your accident. His
insurance would be paying for a new wheel....that's if you kept your cool.
I would have been so pissed and concerned about my wheel, the cause of
this accident would have driven away. This is what happens when you have
a short fuse!

I really didn't have a choice, unless I would've chased him, which would not have turned out well...and I don't think my insurance would cover the wheel since it's aftermarket. I'm gonna try my luck at a DIY fix, heard it's not too hard - but tedious, and I have very little patience.

I wasn't refering to your insurance but the little ***** that caused you to hit
the curb. It wouldn't matter if it's a OEM wheel or not, you were not at fault!
