2003-2004 negative opinions

So why does everyone tend to hate on the 2003-2004 G? I just bought an '04 and it seems to have no issues, but everyone I talk to who has never owned one comes up with all these oddball opinions.

Its because some people see 298hp and automatically think 05+ are faster. They dont always hate on the 03-04s. People really like the performance and especially with the Brembo's. The interior is definitely nicer in the 05+ and there are a few small changes as well.

Burnt CD's are the only thing I use in my '04. You can't play MP3's on the stock head unit though.

The 03-04's are the best years for the G35 IMO. In terms of reliability, braking, and in some areas looks too.

I came close to buying an 07, but I smoked the salesman in it (my buddy), then we swapped and he smoked me while I drove the 07 so it wasn't a driver issue... No thanks, I'll keep my non rev-up 04.5 with the extra torque, Brembo's and not a detectable drop in oil level between changes even at 85,000 hard miles!
