right...i agree...no acura in japan...but why does an ACURA emblem has to original from letter H but not letter A? i just dun get that point...cuz from all angle it looks more like an A than a H to me

ya...i think my question is more like.."why do u assume that the acura logo is derived from the honda logo"...since no one claimed that the infiniti logo is from nissan....or lexus from toyota...i am just curious why did you come to such conclusion since its not that intuitively clear to me...i totally thought its just an A...just like..lexus is L...infiniti is the infiniti logo as in math...

but you do know those companies (nissan/infiniti, toyota/lexus, honda/acura) are all the same right..just a matter of lower/higher class

takuyah wasn't confused whether honda was acura, or nissan was an infiniti.
all he was sayin was why would Acura deform the letter H to make it into an Acura logo from what Grider35c was so insistent on.

i just wanted to know what our logo meant.

a sideways 8 is the math symbol for infiniti...iv taken ALOT of math and never have i seen anything similar to Mt Fuji drawn for infiniti...maybe i misunderstood what u were saying though...

The Acura symbol is really supposed to represent calipers which are a measuring device. The fact that the A looks like a modified H is just a bonus.
