Never! Never owned an automatic in my life. Someday I do hope to have an automatic daily driver, but will always have an MT "toy".

I must admit that the thought has crossed my mind a few times, but I know for sure that if I had gotten the AT, I would have regretted not getting the MT much more often.

No regrets at all....not even a little bit and not even when i was learning to drive stick, its just so much fun when you get the hang of it. and if you get stick, you'll feel the same way.

 

Only after my wife was mad cause she couldn't drive it. But she soon caught on and now has no problems. Its the only stick car she has been able to drive. We are both glad I went with the 6MT now.

I drive a 6MT too and wouldn't have it any other way (I've never owned an AT car and I'm 52 years old), but "no offense" doesn't have any coverage over "thought it was a turd". You're asking for it from AT owners, even if only passive-agressively.

The G35C/AT is no "turd". I test drove one (even though I knew I'd get the 6MT), and it's great. Very little performance loss with the slushbox. For people who drive in a lot of traffic or who prefer AT for any other reason, they still get a fantastic car in the AT.
