any of you ever had this problem, my passenger side seat when you fold it up, is spose to move up automatically... it doesnt anymore.. but if i were to do it manually with the button it works... any idea whats wrong?

 

same thing happens with mine occasionally. I basically pin pointed the problem to people adjusting the back rest before they actually click the seat back into position. It will just end up fixing itself when you least expect it....you are not alone.

For the passenger seat I am pretty sure the e-brake has to be pulled as well. If the e-brake isnt pulled the passenger seat wakling movement doesnt work. I remember reading something about that...figured I'd throw it out there to check on....

 

scobic is right about the parking brake. Also the seat will only go forward if you have the door open. You can open the door, get out, tilt the seat forward and let it start moving forward AND THEN close the door (while the seat is still moving forward). The seat will continue moving forward until it reaches the end of travel. I do this frequently when picking up the kids from preschool or daycare.

The seats moves soooooo slow you probably don't notice It!

I feel really bad when its raining hard and someone has to wait for that damn seat to move up before they can actually get into the car......what was INFINITI thinking?

Maybe theres a mod to "speed' up the process.....perhaps another speed motor?

i think i have figured this out b/c i went nuts when my driver side would stop. you have to tilt the seat back to the straight up position first before moving the adjustment handle. So just push the back part back until it clicks and stops. Then once its starts moving then you can use the handle to pimp ur seat.

Install the Z-Tube in your seat and it'll move 10% faster :P

 

Or install a greddy TT kit and it will shoot out of the front of the car. This way you will never have to worry about a slow moving seat ever again. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]
