how to use OBD2?? help

car went into limp mode...wouldnt rev over 15000 rpm...need to pull codes...got a scanner i just dont know how to use it..

please help! thanks!

driver side under the dash by your feet is the DLC (data link connector)

plug it in, turn your car in the ON position and scan for codes
