possible to replace factory spoiler with a lip?

i am assuming the factory spoiler is held in place by just two screws, hopefully not to far from the edge of the hood. In that case one could easily replace the factory spoiler right?

are you talking about the front spoiler...? or front bumper...? the front spoiler I believe is something like 8 screws (correct me if I'm wrong). I just replaced my whole bumper...not sure what you are wanting to do with it though...

oh, i was talking about the rear spoiler. just re-read my post and noticed the confusion with the reference to the hood. I meant close to the edge of the trunk lid.

no, the rear wing is held on by mre than 2 nuts, i thinks it was more like 8 or 9. it also has alot of double sided tape holding it down.

You could replace it, but it would be a lot of work from your bodyshop as they'd have to fill in all the holes. Your best bet would be to try a trunk swap with someone. Not sure how complicated that process is.
