I hate to say it (because my own bluebook has plummeted since my July '07 purchase), but this might even be possible private party if you're patient. I'm pretty sure I've seen an '06 or two with <30k miles on it go for <$25K.

However, it does depend upon where you're located.

I found one just like that but it was an 05, same thing basically. Black/Black, I think everything but Navi/ Moonroof, 25k miles for 21k.

Was somewhere in NY at a suburau dealer, was sold about 2-3 weeks after I found it. Cars.com has the best deals IMO.

It might be had to find a 6 speed for that price just because so many people are starting to want um. I bought mine an 05 with 20,000 miles w/everything from navi to moonroof its black on black and I payed $27,000 but if you will go with automatic iv seen um for alot less.

Depends on the area your in. If you got that much cash you can still do it from a dealer and would have probably at most 2-3k to pay, which is easy to do. I've seen them cheap like that before but they were lease returns which is not what you want. Honestly I would go for an 03 or 04 cause they still had the brembo brakes.

^^^ Or you could get a good deal on a low mileage '04 (best year IMO) and then put a few K into mods.

Great idea buying the car through auction. That should knock roughly 5k off dealers price.

ie. if a dealer is selling for 25k, I can almost guarantee he bought it for less than 20k.

Repo'd?

to OP you said in your original post that you would want "white" as an option and you want black interior only. White on black stopped in 03 I think...just a heads up

I'd rather buy a car with a service history I can trace. Plus Repo isn't the only way cars end up at auctions. It is one of several.
