My G just got delivered yesterday and I have a couple questions...

First...what does "REV" mean? It says "REV" by the speedometer

Second...when I rev high going into 1st, my clutch sticks sometimes. So far its happened 4 times. It comes halfway up then either I have to lift it or wait for the RPM's to drop and it'll come up on its own. Is this a major problem? Again, this ONLY happens going into 1st when I rev high.

rev means you have it set so it will flash up to a certain set-able rpm and then turn solid. thus reminding you to shift

 

sounds like RPM lock out on your clutch, basically the pressure plate not releasing quick enough. This either means its on its way out, or its just old. either way it will need to be replaces sooner or later or....upgraded

 

the car only has 23k miles on it. so that means the previous owner probably drove it like an @$$hole right?

 

Could be a possibility but then again the previous owner might not have known to properly drive the car. You know, slip the clutch a little too much taking of and things like that.
