Hey guys, just went to the Infiniti dealership Saturday with the intent of putting a deposit down on a coupe. I sat down inside and could not find a single position where my head did not touch the headliner. Yes, the seat was fully lowered and I even reclined it more than usual. Is there some hidden adjustment like on the seat tracks or such. Please tell me there is something I can do to fit in this car. I sat inside an FX45 and noticed about 3-4 inches of room above my head. BTW, I am about 6' so not out of the normal size range. If you know of any tricks, please let me know. Thanks guys!!

 

i'm 5'7 and find it comfortable (neve rfocused on the head room). the one thing i can tell you is that there is 0 headroom in the back- sitting in the back once, my head was smashed up against the windshield....and i'm 3'' below average height

im 6' and i fit fine.....maybe you can try to get the coupe without a sunroof.....that will give you about an inch more head room.....try moving the seat Down, the buttons should all be there on the seat man.....good luck

5"8.5' here I fit fine in my non sunroof coupe. In the rear like mentioned I would have to duck my head. In my old sedan with sunroof I would raise my seat some so i could see the right front corner of the car and at that height I was rather close to the top.

Yea I didn't think that headroom was tight in the front (but then again I'm only 5'10" [img]/w3timages/icons/blush.gif[/img] ). But the backseat headroom is definitely pretty tight.

I am 6'0" and i have plenty of room. I had a Mazda MX6 back in 1995-1997 and that car had NO headroom... the G has plenty. Are you reclining the seat at all?

I'm 5'4 and lucky for me the highest setting fits jut fine.otherwise I might need one of those booster thingy.. hehehe

I'm 5'10' and there's no problem with my headroom, I have the sunroof also.

I'm 6'2" and it's tight (the headroom). I have about 1/4" of close-cropped hair on my head and it scrapes the roof quite regularly. I find that opening the sunshade helps a bit.

Ah, well - I have so much fun in the car that I really don't notice..

ok everyone keeps saying they are 5'8" and they fit fine! no $hit you fit fine! ok sorry for that i just thought it was funny because i am 6'4" and i fit fine, i have a long torso with a 34" inseam, although my hair does brush the ceiling in the morning when i lean my head back, but i just got used to it, i love the car too much to let that be the desiding factor.

 

yea... my boyfriend didn't agree w/ sitting in the back, so he says that it gives him a reason to always sit in the front. he's 6 ft. and didn't have a problem with the headroom in the front. neither did i considering i have plenty of room. hahaha i'm only 5'1!!!! lolz
