So I've had my G for a few months now and love it. So far I've put on some clear corners, which looks very nice on OB. This is my remaining list.


Tinting (20%?)-- This is what worries me. I live in NY where there is a very very strict tinting law, where the limit is in the 70%'s. ANd I live in a small town where they pull over for random reasons cause they are bored. Dont know if its worth the hassle.

Painting grille black -- Im only gonna do this if i get tints.


Tinting headlight/tailights -- I dont know how this looks w/o tints on car and with the wheat interior, on OB exterior.


SO what do you guys think? Should I get tints? If I dont, if I do the other stuff would it look odd? Thanks

 

I've heard on Driver how strict NY cops can be, if that is a concern thint what
the law allows. Does the NY law cover all windows at 80% or just the driver/
passanger windows? If not do all other windows in the 20% and follow the
law on side windows. That's how my last car was set up. Bluebatmobile is
the guy to PM for overlays, he's got many different choices for you car...g/l

if cops bust ***** for tint, u answered your own question, especially on the tails.

 

my little bro has an 03 OB coupe. he tinted his windows 5%, blacked out tail lights and left the reverse light normal. painted black grilles,. wheat interior on some volks 19" time attacks slammed to the floor. and it looks pretty nice creeping around at night. sick look. but gets harassed a lot because i live in SOCAL. quick fix it ticket or just pay the fine for it. after a few fix it tickets, they just left him alone.
