I'm working on it. It's being installed right now. It should be done next week.

Re: Anyone got the Greddy Turbo installed?

Most of the GReddy turbos are producing around +100 rwhp, so about 335 rwhp.

I am going to wait until next year to rebuild the bottom end and then I'll be able to crank up the boost. It has been suggested that somewhere between 500-700rwhp could be achieved with the correct tuning.

Money is restricting me from doing both the turbos and the internals at the same time. It's always the money!!!!!!

Re: Anyone got the Greddy Turbo installed?

Sammy, what size tires do you have on your Maya's?

I would think you'd have problems taking off after the TT... how wide are your rims?

I hope they are 10" with 295 tires?

Re: Anyone got the Greddy Turbo installed?

Ah man I was hoping for bigger gains not just 100 rwhp.
Am I better off with the supercharger then?
Or which system is more reliable and will have less wear on my engine.

Re: Anyone got the Greddy Turbo installed?

fluffydot - I have 285/30/20 on the rear with 10" rims. Why do you think that I will have problems taking off?

Sloneek - I thought that 100 hp gain was alot for only 5.5psi of boost. You can up the boost to get closer to the 400rwhp mark but you will sacrifice the reliability of the engine. If you want more hp you have to rebuild the bottom end because the internals can't take much more than 400rwhp.

Oh yeah, you will be able to get more hp with the twin turbo than with the supercharger.

Re: Anyone got the Greddy Turbo installed?

Ah... there ya go. I wasn't sure what size tires you got. (I guess my next question would be... did you have to adjust camber etc... blah blah) but we should leave that for the wheels forum.

I'd really like to know if 285 is good enough and /or how much of a difference it makes? somebody needs to make a wide body kit for us so we can get some 315mm tires in the rear like 911 turbos =P~~~
