i don't know if this will start another debate or anything...but i really prefer the g35 with a different color scheme than it has in the car.....all i want to know is...how difficult is it to replace the bulbs/color on dash/center console and what not in the car? i really love this car...but it is keeping me from buying it...just my opinion...not to diss anyone's car..

 

It's gonna be pretty hard. You'll have to replace all gauge lights, HVAC display, stereo control, door/window controls, AT gear lights (if you want AT), heated seats controls and other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting.

too hard....and would be very expensive getting all those special LED lights for the IC boards in the AC and HUD.

 

I'm surprised to hear when people won't buy a car because of the dash lighting.

 

japanparts.com sells a white face dash for it. Runs a bit over $500 US. I'm not sure how hard it would be to install, but it would look sweeeetttt!!

xcelr8... yeah, i think that dash looks awesome, too! but, unfortunately, i think it still lights up in the same orange color that takuyaah doesn't like. [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

It does *sniff* but its easier to replace the bulbs when the dash is out of the car.

ya...well...i have a thinking about if i am about to pay 35K-40K for a car...i would wanna like every bit of it....i've seen the light color..i just don't like it...i mean...of course..if nothing i can do..i am going to get the car still...but...u know..just personal preference...thanks everyone for helping..i guess my hope died =(
