[QUOTE=dreamcatchr]you have 255/35/20 in your rears??? isnt the aspect ratio supposed to be 30 to stay within oem diameter??? and what width is your rear that you're running on 255???
please educate me on "what" would be the correct tire size(s) that would be close to "stock" diameter using a 20" wheel. i have no clue. taking the word of the tire technician who installed these wheels and tires. thanks

Not sure what your stock tires were, but here is the info for all the possible rear tire sizes that came factory. The key here is to maintain the same diameter and front to back ratio when moving up to a larger wheel size so to not mess up the VDC.
Front:
225/40/19 -> Diameter 26.08"
Rear
P245/40R19 -> Diameter 26.71
Your Tires -
245/35/20 -> diameter 26.75"
255/35/20 -> diameter 27.02"
Which means that your tires are too tall. I am running a 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 in the rear, which has a 26.02 and 26.73" diameter. You also need to check the specs on your tires, b/c every manufacturer is different. i would suggest going to their website to confirm the specs for your model tire. Is you VDC acting up?

wow! now that's good info and "i" had no clue to this outage. my car when i purchased it, had stock 18" wheels and tires. i think i should look at replacing these tires and purchasing something closer to the sizes you provided.
the vdc when "on" or "off" isn't showing any signs of trouble.
thanks for the reply. it really helped
