I always wave at G35 Coupes and Sedans, and to 350Z's as well, but I don't usually get very many responses. The thing that really pisses me off is when other G/Z owners are rude to you on the road, i.e. cutting you off, etc. This has only happened to me once, but it really surprised me.

I have tried so many times only in vain.......only 1 person so far even took the time to acknowledge we had the same car.......
I just don't get it.......In my opinion this is still a pretty rare car....and you would think that another owner would jump through hoops to acknowledge another G owner......makes me wish I still had my Corvettes.......always got a wink or a wave......

But to add to this topic, not everyone feels the same as you about your car, etc, etc, there's no page in the manual that states you have to greet everyone else, bla bla bla, you have a right to be nice to anyone you want, bla bla bla, no one is required to aknowledge you.

I always give a little wave or a polite shake of the hand to any nice car, just to show respect. Naturally, all G's and Z's are included. Not a whole lot of G's around my small college town, but every now and then I see one. They wave back.

mozy... take it easy. cwtroy registered to this site about 2 weeks ago and i doubt he (or anyone, for that matter) would even think of doing a search for "acknowledging other Gs." so instead of wasting your time harrassing the new people and attempting to make them feel stupid, try helping out or welcoming a newbie and stop with the attitude. i think you're just having a bad day because come on, you've been around this site long enough to know better.

I'm starting to see alot of sedans, but most of them dont even seem to be interested in the coupe flying by them. Coupes are very rare by me and I see one maybe two others a week on the road. On my way home from work, I constantly see a beige? (dont know the exact color, im color blind) coupe parked in a driveway on Belmar Blvd. To be honest, I dont think it's moved in about 3-5 months. As for waving to the coupes I see, I got a wave out of a mid 30's mom in a coupe and thats been it so far. I take out my fathers 04 vette, I cant go 3 miles without seeing and waving to another vette. Much more love, or maybe even its just pride, within the vette community. When I wave, its because Im proud of what I have and acknowledging another person as fortunate to be driving a G as I, but people look back in disgust like I gave them the finger. Oh well, I guess some just aren't as into this car as all....it's a shame, but some people just drive thier G, not enjoy it.

for those who re-post topics that have already been discussed, i don't think there's any problem with that. just a little repetitious yea, but i'm sure everyone was a newbie once. no need to hate, just fill them in on what's up...politely.

as for leather seats in the summer, i need to get tints done, and an auto-start installed for the a/c(summer), warm-up(winter) [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

ex250, the g35 serves its purpose for an enthusiast, and practical everyday car. so some will wave back, others will be thinking 'weirdo'
i only seem to run into coupes when i'm driving my accord to work in longisland. when i drive my coupe in jersey, i only see sedans. except for this past weekend..i saw 5-6 g coupes in one parking lot within 5-10 minutes [img]/w3timages/icons/crazy.gif[/img]

mozy... yeah, this topic has been beaten to death! but like cynical102 said, it doesn't hurt to fill in a newbie. it's not like those "z tube/popcharger vs CAI" threads where you can do a search and get pretty much the same posts. these kinds of "personal experience" threads are more for entertainment rather than finding an ultimate answer. and haha you're right. cloth is more kind than leather in the sun. *sigh* i so need to tint my windows.
