My 2 cents regarding theese Ebay FOBs

I purchased 2 of these a few weeks back for my 05. I had cut by locksmith, key would only fit and turn ignition with buttons side up. Had to watch which way key was inserted. Would not unlock doors with the key, however, FOB worked. I also believe that the seller is using the wrong transponder chips. Mine was programmed a few times and then a few minutes later the NATS system light would come on when the trying to start the car meaning it did not recognize the chip. I got fed up with paying locksmiths so I purchased a programmer. Contacted seller who sent me new chips, I replaced the old chips with new chips and still have the same problem. I removed the chip from my original key to compare with the chips he was sending, yes size is the same but numbers differ from our original chip. Seller was willing to refund. The FOBS are actually pretty cheap. It's larger also. The VW FOBS seem to be constructed much better and fit in pocket better. Now if you want to remove your chip from your original key and put into this fob this item will work fine. Good luck..

Chris

yeah the chip he sells with key doesn't work. If you request, you can save $5 by letting him (remotehub) know you don't want the transponder.

Its kind of a PITA to put the flip key back together after getting blade cut in chip placed.

There is a little place for it in the flip key. I used super glue so it wouldnt come loose.

I just bought this one off ebay that has all 4 buttons and claims to use a genuine Nissan transponder chip and remote transmitter. It was a bit more money but I didn't want to destroy my original keys or remotes to hack one together. I'll have to see when I get it.

Wow, that doesnt look bad at all. 60 dollars seems pretty reasonable if everything works out great.

That one looks great! Like others have said, please keep us posted.

I would love to get one myself. My g only came with 1 key, I did order a spare, however haven't gotten it cut or programmed yet. Might as well wait and see if this new one works.
