I have an 06 5AT.. very lovely car, no problems here so far ..although i've only had it for a month or so LOL
Most annoying thing about it (But is the case with all g35 5AT's I understand) is the second lag after shifting gears in the 'manual' mode.. Drives me crazy although I hear grounding wires might help ?

I'm considering the same. 5AT 2006 or 5AT 2005. I want to hear from owners that have been checking to make CERTAIN they don't have OC issues. I have heard a rare case or two that have OC problems even though they are AT.

HIGHLY doubt that an AT engine has oil consumption in ANY of its production years because no AT is Rev up.

True, but I know of non-rev MT guys having issues. And I've "heard" of 2 guys with non-rev AT's that are having issues. Since there are so many variables such as drastic high rev driving habits it's hard to tell. Considering it's an AT I dunno why the hell people would be in high revs as much as an MT would. But again just my two cents.
