Next Mod?? UNICHIP or MREV2

I have an 05 6MT coupe with catback, z-tube, jwt popcharger is here monday (8/11/08), and MD 5/16 iso copper thermal spacer. Im not so interested in cosmetics until i can get more hp and torque so i was looking at the unichip and mrev2 but the thing is i can only get one becasue of limited funds. I already know all about the mrev2 but still dont really understand the unichip or really anything electronic about cars

It is like a pre-programmed tune based upon the mods you have. You can have one programmed and sent to you and just install it. It will add power but how much power it will add is a subject of intense debate.

unichip will need to be tuned.

MREV2 is your best bet cause your not doing any justice to tha tplenum spacer without a MREV on a Rev-Up motor.

+1 on the MREV.

Look into the Osiris from Uprev, it's a little more than the Unichip but it does sooooooooooo much more!

+1 on the Osiris. I got mine from Uprev, and it made all the difference in the world!!! And anytime you get a new mod, they send you the reflash via mail.

Do you need to pay $500 again?

No, that's one of the great things about Osiris! The other being Cipher.

You get three free e-tunes. They are $50 after that.

+1 so if you do plan on getting a tune, do the mods that will last you a while, then get the tune so you dont have to keep getting a reflash after every mod...

It's simple they basically re-program your ECU to work better with your mods. They also get rid of the speed limiter as well.
