25 hp gain realistic?

putting the FI 300 cell cats and FI Intimidator exhaust on?

If that alone won't be enough there will be UpRev Osiris tuning after.

What are your thoughts? Hoping for at least 25hp and 15-20 lb ft gains.

I don't think it's realistic without that tune... Even with the tune I think its pushing it.

Yeah, I know it'll be pushing it, that's why I want to see if it's even possible. I'm hoping so, hehe.

BTW, what's up with Johnnie Cochran?

check out the tunner & dyno section, you might find what you are looking for, lots of good dyno sheets.

I really think so too, especially with hi flow cats and new exhaust + Osiris.

I'll let you know what happens.

I think you could. I just finished my TP and XYZ install, haven't dyno'd or re-tuned from Uprev yet but damn, I can feel a difference! This is with the stock exhaust too....COME ON MD VQ!

Hey Twin,

did you take your car down to Austin? I see you're in Tulsa. Or did you do it by email?

By email. I haven't had an etune done yet b/c I'm waiting for the MD 3" VQ exhaust to come out. I just installed TP and the XYZ pipe, drove it around and datalogged using the 91 octane performance tune. The log showed that I was running pretty rich. I'm going to switch back to the stock tune and see what that does. Once the exhaust gets here then I'll do an e-tune.

I have family in Plano so maybe I'll head down to Austin one weekend when I plan on visiting them.

I talked with UpRev yesterday again and confirmed from Richard that them having it for a few hours is definitely a better tune.

I think for prosperity of all the other G guys on here I will take my exhaust down to Austin and ...

1. get a baseline dyno,

2. then have them install the HFCs and cat back, get a dyno,

3. then have them do their Osiris tuning and post all those results.

it's only $$$$$$. Looks like your car is as big of a money pit as mine!

Can't wait for the results. I'll take my car to a dyno here but I don't trust anyone tuning it here. I'll have to make a roadie to Austin sometime and get it done. I'll have to take my wife out for a night on the town while we are there.
