it's understandable if he wants you to pay to ship them back, but he should refund you the shipping you paid the first time around.

well it all depends on the terms on his page. If he said he will refund, buyer to pay shipping...no go.

Also, I have to ask...how much were you saving versus new ones? There are some things that I personally dont buy used if I cant inspect it and rotors fall into that category. But Im so glad he is going to take them back. I was doubtful based on a few bad experiences on Ebay. Thank GOD they changed it so sellers cant retaliate and give you bad feedback.

I was thinking that you would have a hard time PROVING that he used them for more than 200 miles because there's no way to prove wear on a miles/wear ratio. People drive different...some drive CRAZY, lol.

New OEM's for Brembos are about $2000 for all four. I paid $500 including shipping. I never would have paid full price for new ones but at 25 cents on the dollar (and a few hundred cheaper than decent after markets) it seemed like a pretty good deal. Perhaps still not too bad if I can get a partial refund. Not sure a full refund is a good deal if I have to eat $40 dollars worth of shipping each way.

Your right. It would be hard to prove they had more than 200 miles but he also stated they were like "new" and "perfect", which the micrometer data clearly shows they're not. Also, 20% wear after only 200 miles? That would suggest they'd be trashed after only 1000 miles total.

LOL. True in deed. Thats a great deal. Glad I dont have Brembos now. I had no idea. Sorry you're going through this, bro.

I would ask for a cut of the money back since you still need rotors. Not sure if he's going to do it. I couldnt get "88-rotors" to give me anything after I bought some cheap-azz rotors from them...rust on day 2? complete-TITANIC-looking rust on day 4...LOL..even though it wasnt funny.

The wear of a rotor isn't linear, wear is higher at the beginning due to break in with the pads, doesn't mean that the seller was telling the truth, but just pointing that out
