Re: Question: Car Alrams
do you plan on modding or getting new wheels? cuz honestly, i think the stock alarm is fine if you add on the do-it-yourself motion sensor. personally, i was going to get an aftermarket alarm but wanted to wait until i got my new wheels. in the meantime, i did the motion sensor add-on for like $25. you can get the dyi from this site by doing a search.
then, i hear all about the new changes on the 2005 and now i'm just waiting cuz i might just trade-up instead. but if you're all into gettting a new one, i would just recommend any with a pager remote cuz they are cool. that's what i was going to go with. clifford makes one that hasn't had any complaints with ppl--the clifford matrix i believe. other than that, alarms are all the same. honestly, unless you get a hoodlock with the alarm, it's all no good cuz all that thieves have to do is just pop the hood and cut the wire, unless you get one with battery back-up or uses a different source of power. i don't think they make alarm systems with battery back-ups anymore, and the choice will cost.
