Unhappy Terrible Loss in the G world

Some idiotttt driver ran a red light yesterday and TOTALLED my 2004 black G coupe! I didnt get hurt or anything so im fortunate about that...but im soooo upset about my car! it was my first G and i was slowly doing stuff to it and LOVING it! Man. Its all gone. But luckily i have full coverage and the insurance company is being cool so im gonna get a check in the next week or two....but until then im gonna be on the lookout for one similar to my last one. = ( . anyways. i know i am just rambling on. it just helps venting to fellow G drivers because im sure yall can feel my pain.

Nick

Sux about your car man, but you could look at the positive side of it and see it as an opportunity to step into something newer and nicer.

Just so you know though... if the other driver did indeed run a red light when he hit you, the accident will be 100% his/her fault, meaning that you would get the full amount for your car from the other persons insurance company, regardless of what coverage you had on your own vehicle(even if you only had basic coverage). The only way that you could really lose out on the situation would be if the other person was an uninsured motorist, which is illegal in most states. Even if they were uninsured (I hate to use the word lawsuit), you could sue the other guy if he/she had no insurance in order to recover your losses from the accident. That's what insurance protects you against... intsead of sueing the person, you're essentially pulling a lawsuit against the other persons insurance company. If they have no protection, you have to go after the driver themselves or just take the loss if they have no money for you to sue them for(this happens a lot with uninsured illegal alien drivers from Mexico causing accidents).
