Could Be A Sensor, Or A Loose Airbag Panel.

To reset the light simply turn the iginition to the on position, (you dont need to start it). All the lights should stay on for thier diagnostic check. As soon as the airbag light goes off, before it starts flashing, immeditatly turn the car off. Repeat this 3 or 4 times (turning to on then off) and the light should go away

My car just started flashing the airbag lite. Nissan said it was a sensor going out, and they would be happy to fix it for $800.00. I asked if they could disconnect the light and they said it was against the law. (whatever ) So I am driving with a blinking lite. Don't worry, you will get used to it.

I'm pretty sure when the light is flashing the entire system is disabled... so no airbags if you get in an accident.

I recently installed some cobra seats. There is a plug that goes from your floor board, to your seat. You have airbags in your stock seats. When the light is flashing it could be your sensor or the plug is going faulty.

Don't worry though, it's just your seat airbags that the light is referring to. I'm currently driving around with the damn thing flashing at me, but i'm planning on getting a dummy plug to put back in there. You can also get your dash silk screened, but thats more $$. I'm doing the silk screen because I want my dash lights to look different. Orange and red aren't doing it for me anymore.

The flashing could be any airbag on the system, not just the seat ones.

Very good idea to check all the connectors first. Check everything you can before spending that kind of money to repair.
