You won't beat her badly enough to justify for the 60k m3. The STI will give m3 run for their money but ultimately m3 will win. I say if you really want to beat her bad just take your G in for force induction and don't tell her about it. Now that's going to be a surprise. It won't be as fun beating her slightly in a m3 on top of that you just sinked large amount of cash for a new car. However a FI G35 vs. M3 I'll still take the M. So much classier and the status symbol.

If you already have that sweet 6MT Coupe...and your chic can afford an STI...and you are now looking at an M3 to shut her up...you have a lot of cash...so: The STI, if driven well, will beat the M3, so just go by a blower for your 6MT and then you can take out either car for 1/10th the cost!

If she can buy the M3 instead then you have a happy outcome. Classy car, great interior (lots more expensive of course), but you get to ride in it, so nothing to complain about there. These two cars were actually my final two choices. The G35 won because it's a great combination performance and luxury. I love a car that has the overall package. The STi is faster, but my boy racer days are over.

the sti was on my list also,but i chose the g35c.maybe slower but way more refined.i cant see paying over 30000 and not even getting a radio,and i didnt wanna look like fast and furious influenced me.HAHAHAHA
