Does anyone have any guesses as to how much weight the chrome adds to the wheels?

A friend of mine told me it would add a couple of extra ounces to each wheel. When I bought mine I was considering the chrome wheels cuz' they look so phat with the Laser Red. But after he told me there would be a little extra weight and the fact that Laser Red already stands out enough, I decided against it.

Yea, I'm trying to decide if I want to go for the chrome wheels or not. I"m all about performance, which is why I'm thinking I don't want them. But on the other hand, they would look soooo good on Black.

BTW, anyone have a pic of black w/ chrome wheels?

Think it depends on how much bling you want. My motto is "All zing and No bling", he he. I'd say the painted wheels myself. The nice thing about the powder coat on the painted wheels is that it's kinda metal and reflective so it looks very nice on darker colors. There is a guy that lives one street up from me whom has a black on and it looks great. It's purely choice. Good luck man
