Any ricers try to race you yet? I find it funny, because in my mustang i'd have every riced out civic and accord revving at me to try to race. With the coupe, nothing. The only people who try to play with it are BMWs and M-B (yesterday I had some old guyin an sl55 AMG try to race me, lol...no thank you )

In my G sedan nobody but in my Z everytime I go out,mostly riced out civics.

Yeah, I had one riced up civic coupe of all things. Other than that only a old 5.0 mustang (LX). Most other cars just pull up to see what it is. There are no Infiniti dealers with 100 miles of here, so they are rarer.

 

Yeah I had a 5.0 LX Stang try to race me too, but I chickened out cuz my car barely had any miles on it and I didn't want to push it too hard during the break-in period.

people think I'm only 16, so i guess I look like a little boy driving a G35 coupe. All sorts of cars try to race and all sorts of ladies jock the car. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] come down to cali I'll hook you up with the ones in the 20's. I'll take you to the illegal drags too so you can race some hondas, we'll take your car, LOL cause I sure don't want to be impounded.

I didn't realize there have been so many challengers till I listed them. There's some more including all those people that just bought new cars. I think i even had some volvo rev on me. Most of the people trying to race the g35coupe are Audi TT's, C230's and Solars. Weird but the g35coupe main rival 330ci, they actually keep to themself. I did have some butt head in a new 5 series turn into me head on, on purpose in a parking lot.

Does anyone else have a list this long or longer? Don't get me wrong I'm really a nice guy and mind my own business when I drive. I know the G35coupe attracks a lot of attention right now, but I really don't go looking for races, they find me.

None...I've got a little over 1K miles on my 6MT and everyone seems to be spending so much time staring at the beauty of the exterior. I'm sure now that Spring is coming I'll be driving it more and more opportunities will arise.

 

oh well, maybe it'll get better by spring time......i'd love to race a 100hp civic, hehe, but nooooo, only things that challenege me have oodles more power than me, heh

LOL, ya either the cars have way too much HP or not enough. A new Si kept up until I hit 2nd gear, that wasn't a race though I was just trying to get on the freeway.

I've only officially raced a pathfinder. That was in a canyon and all on knowing your vehicle. Of course I could see the pathfinder swaying in my rear view mirror.

Looks like the Neon Srt-4 might gives us a challange...

I ahven't been tried by anyone yet...prolly cuaz i have recieve my G...=)

 

It does ruffle me a bit knowing that an SRT-4 can probably spank me in a race. But then I think about the fact that it's a freaking NEON, and I'm driving an Infiniti G35 Coupe and feel much better.

(Still want to get that turbo though so I can get the best of both worlds )

 

This car gets all the Hoes, sorry i mean ladies. I've had the car for 4 days, and get nothing but compliments driving down the street. [censored], I met this check the other night and we're going out saturday. God bless my G. it has P-U-S-S-Y written all over it.

 

you can still beat an srt, unless he's added boost controller, chip and a few other things.

We'll see what happens at the next lapping session I do at Thunderhill...should be some rice there...I think I will trailer both cars up. I know they like to talk trash about my 'Stang, you know old technology, heavy, can't handle because it sits up to high (the same persons we laugh at when we ask What is your steering rack offset balance point? and How much suspension travel room do you have with the car that low? and they reply might car handles 'hell-a-tight G', better than than POS American thing you drive). But I have yet to a ricer post a quicker lap time than my old technology, heavy POS.
It will be interesting to see what kind of times I can post in my bone stock G35. Don't think I will hear has much smack turning it loose as I do with my Stang, but I will let you know.

Suburu WRX- Even (driver was young and had some issues shifting)

I did have some fun with a Riced out Civic on a windy road...had to be at least 500HP with all those stickers on it...I have a post about it re: SLIP light...
