My last car was a 330ci. I didnt think the G was that much faster.

 

That video points out my biggest complaint....how much better the HID's are on the bimmer

I would say there is no question that the G will beat almost any 6 out there (except M3).
I have a G35c AT and a BMW 540 AT. Both cars are about the same in acceleration. I don't think anyone would even ask if a 540 could take a 330!

As you mentioned, it does look like you get a nice jump on him off the line. Subtract that and at about 80+ you should have had only about a car length or so on him. At 80+ is where a tenth of a second really ads up so 2 or 3 cars is not much.

My boy has a 330 and to 60 is almost a dead heat with the G pulling more up top. Thoses things are way underrated. Drivers race most of the time so thats some good driving on your part. Nice shift to 2nd too.

The 330ci had aftermarket bulbs @ 8000k.

Also we couldn't race again since we only get to do it about once before a cop shows up. We live right by the empty parking lot so we usually do just one run and come home.
