Dealership-transmission question. Help please..

hi, i have 2005 g35coupe 6MT with 73000kms.

my clutch pedal was really hard(heavy) and sometimes i was hearing grindings going from 1 to 2 and was feeling like "notch" when i was putting the gear to 3rd
and the mechanic guy said that i am right and the pedal is hard and they will be replacing the input shaft and he also said my clutch is worned out and i should get a new clutch and because they will already open the transmission they can change the clutch with 1.5 labor and the part for 810$CAN. he also said i might need to get a new flywheel and all would cost 1600$CAN, but the he said actually we can just buff the flywheel and you should be fine.

does this sound right to you? i head somepeople here on the forum got new clutch and flywheel under warranty because of gears grinding..should i demand them to replace it underwarranty? and if yes how can i defend myself? or is 810 sounds good and i should do it that way?
any advise would be appriciated.
thank you.

i just got my tranny replaced because of a 6th gear grind issue i was having. turned out the 6th gear blocker plate was broken and the clutch was torn up and the pressure plate was binding. so they replaced the flywheel, clutch, and tranny all under warranty!

hope this helps

So if i have a very heavy, hard clutch pedal and when i go from 1 to 2 its hard and when i go 2 to 3 i feel as if i am touching something do these tell me that my clutch is worned out??
or is he trying to make me change to clutch when i dont need? my car has 73000kms on it is it time for a new clutch? what are the symptoms that i can understand my clutch is finished?
