Hey, everyone, everyime i hit the gas whether im on the clutch or not my car revs up about 500 rpms and then goes...it is an 06 6mt and it just started doing it a few days ago....cant figure out if its the clutch or not??

Any help on what it could be???

 

sounds like it very well could be your clutch going out, not catching/holding. This is what mine did when it went out. Go get it looked at, a tech will be able to tell right away.

 

How much was your new clutch..with install??

 

if you're under warranty, you might be able to get one for free

 

if not, probably around $1000

 

i am still in warranty...but would a clutch would be included in warranty

 

how many miles u got on it?

 

Better yet. Upgrade that clutch.

 

depends on the coolness level of your dealership

 

it only has 22000 miles on it...which is why i cant believe its already going out...cuz i kno i drive fine...i got it with 16000 miles on it so im pretty sure it was the guy before that wore it out...i hope ...but wish me luck im going to ininiti today...ill post what they say
