Happy and Pissed at the G-coupe

I was extremely happy with the G-coupe until I carpool with some friends in his 2003 Hyundi tiboron. Even the freaking tiboron have a lever on the side of the seat for easy rear access. Our G-coupe we would have to bend all the way down to reach for the lever on the bottom of the seat. Guess what, there is no excuse because for infiniti becuase the tiboron also have side impact airbag. I'm so so pissed because our car cost twice as much as the tiboron. Peace.

Re: Happy and Pissed at the G-coupe

those are only two factors in the car. think about everything else.
i'm sure sometime in the future, EVERY car will have side, front, and curtain airbags anyway. i think they just implemented the G seat handles in trying to be somewhat innovative. i think they should've kept the seats regular without the automatic forward/back and put the money into something else like maybe our fogs, better paint, or one of the many complaints about our cars.
and i think our cars are in a whole different league from a tiburon. i mock my friend for his love of tiburons. i would hate to think of it side by side. (shudder)

Maybe I misread your post, but the G has both a lever on the side as well as on the back on the passenger seat that will make the seat go forward for rear seat entry and exit.
However I have never looked behind the driver seat.

Well, Nissan's coupe seat designers appearently aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer. My 98 Accord coupe had a better designed driver's seat where the seat had a quick release lever AND a power recline. However, I have never even thought once about how I miss my Accord and wish I had that back. The Accord was nice, but it doesn't come close to the G. Better seats or not.
