How Do I Fix This???
Alright got a crappy situation here. A few weeks ago my friend was jacking up my car(i know first mistake), but hes in school to be a mechanic and there was a popping sound. Lowered the car and it just slightly popped up the undercarriage so it was no big deal. Well the other day I was cleaning out my car and noticed in the back seat on the drivers side the floor is raised! This is causing the carpet to be all popped out from where it goes up the front of the back seats and it just looks bad.
Problem is, how the hel do i pop that back down. I tried with all the force I had and its not working at all. Any suggestions would be great...

Well think about it like this, the weight of the car is what caused it as the jack was just a prop, so simply hammering it or whatever may not work. You may need professional help. You probably cant generate a few thousand lbs of force like the weight of the car on the jack did. Thats weird. Gotta jack it up at the right spot, boss.

Beating it with a hammer will potentially do more damage.
A body shop would secure your car on a rack or a floor system....weld a eyebolt to the underside of the floor.....then they'd hook a come-along (ratchet) cable between the rack and the eyebolt. They would then pull the raised floor down to where it should be.
Modeling what the body shop would do would be a better solution.

Download the Factory Service Manual - it tells you how to properly jack the car up.
