G35 Coupe or M3?

So I just purchased my 6MT Coupe 3 weeks ago and I'm in love with it no surprise! So every year I buy a $100 dollar raffle ticket to win an M3 or $40,000 cash. All along the M3 has been my dream car but now I actually think if I win it I will sell it and keep the G. How about the rest of you? By the way I won an early bird prize of $1000 dollars last week!!!!!

i thought the m3 is more than 40. after all, a 330 with decent options is more than that

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

An M3 starts at $49k and with decent options like xenons, premium and sports pgks will run about $56k before taxes.

You can get a decently used '01 or '02 M3 for around 40k.

Re: G35 Coupe or M3?

Get the M if it is your dream car. Its only 20k more now vs. you have to save up for another 60k later on. Instead of spending 60k now you end up spending 98k = 60 + 38k (G35c) later when you finally decide to get your dream car and all thoes years you waited.

Besides you can get a decide milage 01-02 M3 for 35-40k now.

I'd probably keep the M3 because I love that car!

The new M's just sound so mean.

That European style of dual exhaust is mighty pretty too.

Love my G, but I'd have to keep the M.

Re: G35 Coupe or M3?

I'd sell the M3, take about 40% to pay the taxes and have about $30-$35K left. I'd get the Vortec Unit installed, buy some nice rims, and pay off my G35. Then I'd go hunting down unsuspecting Z06's, M3's, M5's, Camaro SS's, etc... and have some fun.

BTW, "Charlotte" you're the first person that I've ever known say they like the sound of the E46 M3 exhaust, and I've spent over 2 years on Roadfly, Bimmerforums, M3forum, etc... That's where I learned the term "raspy".

300bhp??? We'll see... 5-22-2004
