Hi all who would win a race between a 5AT coupe vs a manual WRX? my friend is talking garbage about how he will pull soo hard and this and that anyway what you think?.

 

From a dead stop, you'll have to be a very good "launcher" as the AWD will grab the road with much more ease to say the least. On the other hand, if you do it from a roll, you shouldn't have too much problem taking him. That is of course if it's a plain WRX and not an STI....

Jon if its the WRX from friday nite youll smoke him. I know he wasnt pushing it up the hill but i still blew by. you shoudlnt have a problem.

 

ya it's the same one from friday AJ. And he does have a mod HID lights lol. oh and a boost meter and a $5.00 coffe can muffler.

 

do you know exactly what he has? i.e., Downpipe, high flow cat/or cat delete? intake? i'd imagine with the right tuning, these mods would get him into the looowww 14's, high 13s.

 

well honestly,
i think you have to play little "catch up" game...
i'm pretty sure that MT wrx will get to 0-60 a bit faster than AT g...
but after 60, AT g will accelerate at much faster rate than wrx and eventually g will catch up and pass wrx around 80-90s mph(not sure that one but i'm sure around there)...
