8.8.08 - Buy my 04 g35 6mt

8.13.08- windows tinted for 270 dollars

8.15.08 - accorn falls from tree and compeltely shatters rear window completely thereby wasting 1/3 of my expensive tint job ($89 for replacement of back windowtint) and costing me $380 for new rear window

10.1.08 - rock flys out of dumptruck going opposite directions and smashes my windshield severely (baseball sized shatter in middle)

Anyone else have this kind of awsome luck with their g35's in less than two months after theyve bought them?????

Sorry to hear that, they say things come in 3's so be careful. I had the same bad luck with my 03 MSP. Two weeks after I bought it, I got rear ended, had to replace the bumper and do some paint work. It was in the shop for about 10 days, then 2 weeks after I got it back I got rear ended again. This time it screwed up the back pretty bad $13k in damage to a car I had for about 6 weeks. It took another 6 weeks to get it rebuilt. I thought things were good and made it about a year and a half then I got rear ended yet again for the 3rd and final time. All 3 times I was totally stopped at a light and the person wasn't paying attention.

My rims got attempted stolen on two different occasions and also my spoiler got attempted stolen. Also got keyed once. Had to replace 3 studs because the locks i had they somehow unscrewed it a little bit and got it jammed. Also the brake light on the spoiler was broken and hanging by the wires. I went to Infiniti in Tustin and they wanted $200!!? Its currently hanging on with some tape...

I've actually had the opposite luck. I got mine about a month ago. When I got it there was a chip in the windshield in a few places, and also the uh, trim was sorta hanging off on the driver door.

They fixed it all for free, and got a new windshield.

Although now I've probably jinxed myself.

mrh.

^^ yup. coughing up 270 dollars for a tint job was the start of the downfall imo

but i know where youre coming from. i got a hit and run that cost me my rear bumper the first 5 days of owning my car, got egged, keyed and hailed on the first 6 months of ownership.

I've had very good luck with my G (knock on wood). Only bad incidents right after purchase were getting keyed twice in my parking garage at work. Good thing is the person wasn't malicious and didn't go through the clear... a little wax and some buffing and the marks are all but unnoticeable.
