Adios! Traded my G Coupe

I traded in my 2006 g35 coupe for a 2006 BMW 330i. I needed 4 doors, as I had a baby, and just didn't like the G35 sedan enough to buy it, not a big fan of the front end. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks to all, didn't post a lot, but read alot and did get a lot of good information from this forum.

The BMW forums seem to suck, and many people seem arrogant on there, but oh well.

The 330 is a great car and am very happy with it, however, I will miss my G. I will say that I have no rattles or squeeks whatsoever in the 330, its noticibly more solid than the G, no clutch or drivetrain chatter, so that would be the only thing I won't miss.

Phil

Congrats on your purchase! I recently turned in my G Coupe off a lease and bought a 335xi. Like you, I needed more space but I'll definitely miss my G.

Good luck!

Nice.. I would call it an upgrade...

G's are starting to get outdated.. the coupes at least.

Coupe will never get outdated in my mind! Love mine!

Grats on the 330i... I bought my wife a 2006 330i when they first came out. It has been an 'ok' car but we have had her car in for service WAYYYY more than my "G"... I have 87k miles on the G and we have 26k miles on the bimmer now... The electrical system in our 330i has been a nightmare with the front lights / turn signals... we might have a lemon law case as it has been in 5 times for the same issues so far...

The 330i handles great tho!!

I don't think the coupe is starting to look outdated at all. Maybe the 2003-2004 coupe is starting to look a little bit but not if they're well taken care of. I still prefer the looks any day of the week of a 2005-2006 with the Rays 19's to 99% of what I see on the road.
