Wishin for a G35C
Wishin for a G35C
I'm in the process of saving my money for a down pmt. I just wanted some feedback because this will also be my first new car. I'm 31 and have had used cars since I was 16 but I'm ready now. I'm in the San Fernando Valley (Calif) and plan to buy at the end of the year. Any suggestions, feedback or comments about dealers in the area would help. TIA.
Re: Wishin for a G35C
I was 32 when I bought this car...just recently turned 33. This was my first new car and my first time financing. I checked my credit rating with the three main bureaus...my credit wasn't all that hot.
They will dock your credit score if this is your first time financing a car. My score was docked about 20 points from my lowest score, or about 50 points from my average score. Because of that I had a high interest rate and had to put $15K down ($5K more than I had intended). I decided to go through it anyway, since I have to start somewhere.
If your credit isn't so hot, perhaps you might want your parents to cosign for you. That way you'll have a lower apr and dont' have to put so much down.
If your credit is fine, but you don't belong to a credit union, think about joining one now and getting the loan through them when you purchase at the end of the year. They tend to give you a better interest rate than Infiniti Financial Services.

Re: Wishin for a G35C
that is true dubiux, except i've heard some stories where people have been getting great rates from infiniti financial, you tell your salesman what other places have offered you, and infiniti may try to match it or beat it. I've read of several people who have had that happen

Re: Wishin for a G35C
thanks fellas, I will check out the websites. I just bought a house and my credit is good but I will check with my credit union as suggested. Man, I'm coming a long way from my '67 VW Bug for $600 when I was 16. Then again I was making $3.25 an hour
