Re: Scratch on dash HELP

Dude, that sucks!!! If you post some pictures up of the damage, it may be easier to provide suggestions on what to do.

Re: Scratch on dash HELP

Bad deal dude.. You wouldn't expect them to use sandpaper to dust off your dash and console. Wow.
There is some very fine compound you can buy to get the the scratches out of the Bose screan, but the other scratches could be tough. Ask the body shop at your dealer what they'd use. They probably have something perfect for the job.
Anyone who won't guarantee their work against any kind of damage won't get near my car. A lack of accountability like that is an open invite for carelessness. I'm sure you'll pick another detailer. Good luck bro.

Re: Scratch on dash HELP

Try Plastic polish. Just one of the reasons I like detailing my cars. Sorry to hear about the trouble you have experienced.

Re: Scratch on dash HELP

Depending on the depth of the scratch on the BOSE screen, the type of polish that the sporting goods stores sell to remove scratches on hockey visors, etc should work well.
