it adds 14hp

 

i would wait for some private dyno testing to be done....14hp seems a tad high for just a cai.....like when i was doing cai's for my mustang, they all claim like 10rwhp gain, but very rarely does it ever show uip like that on a dyno. i'd just wait and see.....myself, i'm happy with just my k^n filter

I'm having trouble watching the video. It downloads and then the transfer box disappears. Can anyone help

 

right click on the link ... go to save target as...
save it to your desktop in the defaulted mpeg format .(g.mpeg as filename and file type is Movie file (MPEG)
and click ok ..

when download is complete click close if it shows the dialog box saying download is completed.... if the box does not show .. no worries...
go to the desktop and double click on the downloaded file new to your desktop.

It is important. I too would like to know. They are not legal when you take the car for smog (yeah 5 years..) and by the looks of the installation, it would be a bitch to remove the intake and re-install it after..

 

hmm the edit feature is down so I have another question... is it still possible to get the valve cover back on after installing the intake.. hmm?

 

[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] I care dude. Do you live in the cali bay area? You don't know how some of the cops out here are. No license plate/ hyper white bulbs is a PC for checking under the hood. Also I have this phobia since I've had a total of over $2,000 in fix it tickets.

Each ticket was about $500 a strip search for NOS and a nice trip to the state referee. This was for head light lamp height (lowered car), illegal lighting (hyper white bulbs), noise pollutant (modified exhaust), air pollution (valve cover had a breather filter on it) and good old no license plate.

After all this you can really become afraid of your local "Peace Officer".

About the modified exhaust, that's technically incorrect. A modified exhaust is a muffler with holes poked in it. A performance exhaust is not modified.

Yes it is C.A.R.B legal and the valve cover can be put back on afterwards. I have it on my vehicle without a problem.
