Noob with some questions
Hey all, first post here. I just got my '05 6MT about three weeks ago and I'm loving the s*** out of it! I just debadged it last night, and I plan to get the windows tinted this weekend. I will definitely be adding some performance mods later on once the cash flow is a little better.
Couple questions:
Is it just me, or is the clutch pretty difficult to get used to? Granted this is my first manual I've owned, it's three weeks now and I'm JUST starting to get a good feel for the clutch. Anyone else feel like this?
Virginia state law requires the tint to be no less than 35%. However, I feel like that's just too light. My G is Ivory Pearl with Wheat interior, I'm thinking of risking it and just getting 20% this weekend. Any thoughts?
For intake mods, the trend seems to be pop-charger with z-tube. Howcome most people opt for this instead of a whole new CAI like injen or AEM?
I've been reading around these threads a little bit and I can tell this is a good community of G owners with some very knowledgable people. I look forward to learning my car with you guys.

Everyone has a different preferance for clutch. A lot of members get an aftermarket one if they go through the OEM one quickly.
Tint is your own decision; if you get pulled over, it is your pocketbook that will take the hit.
Power mod wise, get the plenum spacer first, MREV2, then intake, then exhaust, in that order. Testpipe or HFC if applicable, and of course, a tune.

Good choice in rim color too. When I get new rims I'm thinkin either black or gold. Gold rims on a white car = f***ing sexy.

got mine done at TNT (http://www.tnttinting.net) last week after doing some online research and a few recommendations from other local guys here on Driver. price was $159 total and i did 50 on fronts and 35 on rears. couldn't be more happy - i would highly recommend then.
