trading in an 02 c230 coupe giving me head aches on maintenance. the merc dealer had a g35 so i looked up the specs. its an 04 automatic with leather and Bose no sat. but the best part is it only has 19000 miles on it. are there any major issues with the car? ive been looking and saw a few things on break wear, tire wear, interior noise, a possibility of problems on the seal around the spark plugs, and bad weather driving issues. thinking if i get it to grab a set of winter tire rubber and just swap it for the season. the car has the 05 manual with it so it should have about 280 HP. leather interior, cd changer, silver ext. what do you guys think good deal or not? asking around 22 figure i can get him down some. any input

since it's only got 19k miles might want to check for any signs of turbo/supercharger being installed before it was sold to the dealer.. although it is auto so that makes it a little less liekyl

 

carfax has one owner as a company car in northern va. So I doubt it on the turbo. The dealer picked it up at auction a few weeks ago and the area is tight on car sales. The owner of the dealership just laid off 10 guys and is closing one of his satalite buildings he was using for mitsus and used cars. I'm hopeful on talking him down some but we'll see.

 

Hi, I'm looking for a G myself right now. I'm in the Panhandle of Florida an the closest Infiniti dealership is nearly two hours in either direction, so I'm going to have to be patient in my search. Am looking for an 07' G35 coupe with low mileage and hoping that some folks on this site could tell me any issues I may have to deal with on the Gs. I know tire wear is very common, but wanted to make sure transmission problems aren't common. Will get an automatic, since I have a lot of stop and start traffic in town here. Also have a 90 300ZX NA as my weekend car, so I'm a huge fan of Nissan.
