with the coupe 6MT, it's the center console. If there's a sliding door behind the seat heater controls, it's a 2003.5. Also, the 2003 is longer, the seat heater controls are 9in a different place and the armrest is longer on the 2003.

The clock also has wider hands to be more visible at night.

The CD changer is also quicker.

There isn't really an "03.5" Coupe. The Sedan debuted in the Spring of '02. The Coupe came out in the fall, and about that same time, they made some changes to the Sedan (most notably, the smooth trunk lid without the exterior handle). So the Coupe came out right when the Sedan became an '03.5.

The '03 Sedan had a half-width cargo net in the trunk instead of full-width, the Infiniti logo on the seats was stamped/depressed, not embroidered, no internal trunk release button, no passenger-side 12v power outlet, the radio bezels weren't chromed, and probably a couple other minor things. Plus, the '03.5 came from the factory with a number of service issues already fixed (noisy A/C compressor being one of the biggies).
