Some newb questions for new owner!

1. What kinda gas do most of you guys get filled with your car?

2. Is that clear bra a necessity and what exactly does it do? It eliminates rocks and pebbles damaging your front? If so, where and how do you get it done and how much?

I think I had some more but these are the first couple that came to mind. Is there anything else I should be keeping an eye out for as a new owner?? So far I love the car and this is coming from a guy that had a BMW 3 series before.

you need to use premium gas, check your owner's manual.

if you post your area, i'm sure someone can recommend a place to get the clear bra put on...i think it runs around $500+ depending on what you get.

Also, keep away from curbs, especially if you have the 18"s
keep away from parking too close to those cement barriers the front of our cars are a little too low ............
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT Use your G in the snow with the Michelins!!!!!!! These tires are absolutely LETHAL in winter......look into some 17" rims and good snow tires for the winter if you need to do so......

Welcome aboard!!!!!!

Heed the snow advice, I almost died in Canada this January.

Paint chips easily.

Curbs are your worst enemy.

Expect to have problems with your Pilot Sport tires.

Well, I knew how the handling was gonna be so I ended up going with the 17's which are Bridgestone Potenza's. They seem to be like good tires and I don't drive TOO much in the snow anyways here in D.C. We usually don't get a whole lot.

Also if anyone is local, what places do you recommend for the clear bra? Also my car is diamond graphite. Is it really noticeable when you do have a clear bra on?? Anyone have any pictures of it. Thanks again.

Re: Some newb questions for new owner!

Hi, Just wondering why the clear bra is so pricey. Here in Toronto, Canada it's about $200 CAD at the dealership. And that's for the good 3M stuff. Also factoring in the exchange rate.. it's a whole lot cheaper. Some guy in New York said he went up to Toronto to get it done cuz it was so much cheaper.

Unless you're talking about the full front.. with bumper, mirrors.. front fenders.. and hood. Then that's about $500CAD. Which would still be cheaper than $500USD.
