How long do you plan on keeping your G?
I took delivery of my 04 Coupe on Sept 2003 and have taken out last year a 4 year Infiniti Elite extended warranty. Even if I wanted to sell my car, I wouldn't due to the poor economy. Besides, My G is still a terrific value.
I've got so many miles on my G now that I'm better off keeping it than trading it in when I get a new car hopefully some time next year. I'll just keep it as my beater so I don't have to worry about putting miles on it, getting door dings, etc.
this coming july will be 2 years with my G...another 3.5 years this car will be paid off!..then ill search for a new car and use my credit so my step mom doesnt have to cosign!
i have had mine for just over 4 years now and its still very hard to even think of getting a new car... Recently 05+ M3s and 04+ AMGs have been catching my attention but i feel selling this car for just over 10k with 98k miles i would be cheating myself, so i thought to keep it, but having two RWD vehicles in NY at age 25 is not the brightest thing to do.
My car will prob end up with a motor rebuilf and a twin turbo some time within the next two years, and ill pickup a 4x4 or an awd audi or something for snow/rain/winter driving....
I love the damn car just as much as all of you... I got as far as listing it for sale last month but quickly changed my mind
the recent surge of used turbo kits for around 3,000 has me salivating to ****** 1 up, than a used motor (many for under 1200), and slowly piece together a 500+ hp toy... seems do-able for around what the first turbo kits costs you when they first came out
