How long do you plan on keeping your G?
Probably forever....cause honestly by the time i would even want to get rid of the car and the mods that im sure will still be on it not to mention future mods, it will never be worth it to sell.

When my G hits 100k miles I'm selling it. I'm a bit over 72k now so it will be about 2 more years. I hope to buy both an IS-F and an elise in cash, when I sell the G, get a turbo kit and a bbk on the elise and have a super good 4 door DD (IS-F) and a super fun weekend car (elise).
First off, I've never been a fan of keeping a car for more 2-3 years. I always like to switch it up and get newer versions. My first coupe was a 2003 which I waited like 3-4 months for. My current coupe is an 05, so I've owned the car a total of like 5 years. Last year it crossed my mind to get a new car and even went to the bmw dealer to check out the 335i. Came close to parting out but everytime I look at my car, I just can't do it.
I have yet to see a car that I'm in love with like the coupe. 5 years later and this coupe's identity still can't be mistaken. Furthermore, all washed and cleaned, your still breaking necks. I love the car and I've decided to buy out my lease. Its no longer my daily driver and I plan on keeping it as long as possible, no intentions to sell. I'd love to have this thing in my garage 10+ years from now.

I'll be departing for college after next year and hopefully will be going across the country...So i dunno if i will take it with me or not. I may just de-mod her sometime next school year and let my dad have it while im at college. He will be needing a new car and he used to drive a 300zx so he likes driving it too. We will wait and see. I am really undecided about what kind of transportation im gonna need to have while at college. Maybe a bike is in my near future.
I'll have mine forever UNLESS one comes out that looks like the old school G's (ours with the awesome aggressive front), famous lines and curves, and 335+ hp engine with no significant weight increase lol
I really, really like the G35, more so than any other car, no matter how much faster other cars claim to be, etc. You just can't replace it.

I plan on giving mine to my son when he gets married or finishes University - he's 4 now.
So no, I'm not selling it. I love this car, it has given me so much fun, and I have learned more about how stuff works than I ever would with any other hobby. It is practically part of the family. Even my wife has grown to accept - "the black haired mistress" I keep in the garage

I think this car was an instant classic when it first came out and i dont want to be one of the guys when they are 50+ years old telling that story about "ohh when i was such and such age i had this 19** blah blah car and i kick myself in the *** everyday for having sold it!" I dont want to be one of those guys, i plan on keeping her forever!
You pretty much summed it up

I'll keep on putting new engines in it if it needs to but I'm keeping it till it evaporates.
My cousin has a 1995 Nissan Maxima with 240k miles on original engine and transmission.
That's my goal for my G (and then some)

I also onw a 2K SE Max with 225K, it's burning oil but, can't imagine selling it anytime soon. Guess the same for the G. Interested in seeing what the next generation G37 brings. 350H.P. maybe?
Great to see this thread amongst the numerous parting off/sale threads lately.. I'll be keeping mine forever.. Still have my 1997 200SX SE-R.. Even though its been a pain in the rear I love it..!
