I think it looks decent but for me it is way too far from being in my field of view while driving to be of any use. When I glance at my navi I still see what is going on thru the windshield in my peripheral vision... with your setup I'd basically be looking down at the center console.

differant strokes. Peripheral isnt enough when it comes to reaction times. And for the most part im not still driving looking anywhere else but the road. I would never not look at the flow of traffic in front of me...peripheral or totally off.
