I just picked up a 2004 G35 w/premium package yesterday. 36k miles on it. Couple of questions.

1) My clock and climate control display both have what appears to be some sort of plastic damage. It looks like someone used the wrong chemical to clean the screens now parts of the display are faded and blurred. Any fix besides replacing?

2) The upper glove box compartment, the leather is coming off the backside. When I try to open it, I have to push down on the back leather to fit it under the grove or it gets caught up. Is this just held in place by adhesive?

Thanks.

Hey Scrap, Welcome to the G family. I also have the Plastic issue on my clock and gauges. You'll find that the interior can be touchy with certain cleaners. I use Maguires Plastix polish on mine (you can get it just about anywhere). I will make most of the haziness go away, but it will always be there. I also use it on my head and tail lights. GL with the car and gratz....You'll find these car can be...perticular..once you get the inital bugs worked out though you'll love it.

I tried out the Plastix and it worked well on the headlights, but it didn't do much at all for the clock/climate control plastic. Thanks for the tip though.

I use Plexus for all plastic including headlights and clear bras.
