it mostly depends on how you drive.....dont floor
it from a stop, slowly increase your speed.

use cruise control on the freeway.
a month ago i went 400 miles on one tank
of gas in a 18mpg (city) / 24-25mpg (highway)
car from doing (or not doing) those 2 things

If you just bought it, give it a few weeks to let the ECU get used to your driving habits. When I bought mine last december, the first couple of weeks I averaged ~ 15 mpg, and I wasn't even driving fast, but it kept improving gradually and now I get about 20 mpg, with occasional spirited driving. Good luck

i think i get around 17-19 average, around 320-380 miles on a tank. like 85-90 percent city and the rest is highway not bad for me since i like to push it sumtimes. has anyone used z-max or any product to increase their mpg's?

I have to wonder if some of you guys are just taking milage numbers and dividing by 20 which would be wrong. When I refill my tank, it never takes a full 20 gallons but more like 16 or17. Thats the number you should divide by. Most peeps should know this but after seeing some of these really low numbers, I have to wonder. By the way, I average 22mpg

for my car yes....because im commuting between work and home via
the freeway and just cruise at a constant 72mph-ish with the CC
and i got 380miles on the tank when my gas light came on, and that left
about 20miles in the tank...so im guessing i couldve made it to 400.
it was nuts, i was soo surprised when i looked as my fuel gauge.

its never ever been that good again...once in a lifetime type thing, haha.

20 Miles after gas light goes on?? No way i think you have between 40-60 miles left. if i fill up right when my gas light goes it takes about 16.5 Gallons to top her off, so that leaves 3.5 gallons left in the tank.

well, i must be wrong on the capacity of the e-light fuel.
but whatever the numbers were...essentially i could drive
400 miles on that tank, i was impressed.
