Need Help Installing Rear Tail Light Covers (Ionics)
I picked up a set of rear tail light covers from Ionics and of course the quality of the pieces and the paint is 100% perfect. The issue that I'm running into is getting the entire piece to stick to the tail light. I'm using 3M heavy duty outdoor double-sided tape like I used for the front eyelids, yet this part of the rear cover seems to come up for whatever reason:

This lets you see the red part of the tail light and doesn't make it look all that clean / OEM. I was thinking about redoing them tonight with some Gorilla Glue maybe and applying masking tape to hold them overnight and using a hair dryer.
What do you guys recommend?

Double sided tape should work well, just make sure to get the heavy duty kind. Stay away from the foam looking tape.
Something like this should hold well:

Damn that's interesting because Ionics recommended that I use 3M double-sided heavy duty outdoor tape, which I went and bought from Home Depot. And I put the tape all the way to the very end of the overlay but the tape would not stick to the tail light, for some reason. That far edge is the only part that doesn't adhere, that's why I was thinking maybe Gorilla Glue or some kind of bonding material.
