Running Lean - Help!

Hi everyone,

My SES light came on. I took it to an Autozone and they ran the diagnostic which showed that the car was running lean (didn't take the exact code that it showed).

I put in a new Fujita air intake with a K&N air filter about 4 months / 6K miles ago. The SES light came on back then and a buddy of mine used his EMS and reset my ECU. It was fine until last week.

I cleaned the air filter with the K&N cleaner yesterday but the SES light won't come off.

With a search, I read that the ECU should have made the adjustment on such a little mod. But it would seem that it may not have.

Any ideas/comments/help would be appreciated. I am trying to figure out if there is something easy I can do without paying up the a$$ at the dealership.

Thanks

My friend had the same thing happen to his car but its an 07. It ended up being a weak fuel pump(what then dealer said). His screen name is SVLRx on here, might wana pm him and see exactly what happened

Thanks for the reply. I actually started reading his thread in my search before I posted but I stopped when the dealership started feeding him a bunch of bull about the bad gas that "seperated" WTF.

I'll keep reading it and see how it turned out or PM him.

Any other input would be greatly appreciated.
