Okay guys, so Ive always wanted to put a good set of headers on my car, there are so many different companies making them with a huge difference in price range...


what would u guys say is the best headers for hp gains?

 

Before considering headers, think about power gains. There's more HP gains
with HFC and a quality cat-back exhaust. Headers are a PIA to install on
our cars and the gains are minimul!

yes correct...gains are very minimal with headers, sometimes create a totally different note of the exhaust, cost roughly 600-800 to install because of the lack of space....it is almost cheaper to drop the engine out and install the headers and it's 10x easier....I had the Topspeed headers with my Fast Intentions 300-Cell HFC's and HKS Exhaust and the sound of the exhaust wasnt what the HKS sounded like...and also the headers created more flow which decreased the back-pressure for performance.

I now removed the heades and have just the Kinetix 300-cell metallic HFC's and the sound is better but still not where I want to be...this is my .02 cents on headers from experience. The amount you pay for a good set of headers (Stillen, DC Sport, Nismo, Impul, Borla, etc...), install price, its really not worth it...

 

i would suggest headers that hold a pair of turbos on them (heheh) ive wondered this also, but i think i might as well do some turbos...
